About Rylee

Rylee McRoberts is a young gun in the tie-down roping, making his debut in 2026 in the pro rodeo world and putting in the miles to make his mark. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, he’s been around horses his whole life, building his foundation on hard work, grit, and respect for the cowboy way of life.

A full-time farrier, Rylee knows what it means to put in long days and earn everything he’s got. His work behind the anvil carries over into the arena, where discipline, toughness, and attention to detail set him apart every time he backs into the box.

With God at the center of his life, Rylee competes with faith, purpose, and a humble, loving spirit. His family keeps him grounded and reminds him why he started this journey in the first place.

My rodeo path

Rylee competed through all four years of high school in the Arizona High School Rodeo Association (AHSRA), rodeoed at Cochise College, and spent his early years in the Queen Creek Junior Rodeo Association (QCJRA). But what truly sets him apart is his heart—after winning champion saddles, he chose to give them away to deserving contestants who fell just short, showing the kind of humility and character that can’t be taught.
